How? By revamping last year's bag! Most manufacturers offer a "lifetime warranty" and will fix zippers, seams and straps for free - or give you a new bag at no charge. Look for your bag's manufacturer online and call the company. That was a tip in a magazine I read - thought might help someone.

I hope the magazine tip was right! I know school things can get really expensive so if there are ways to cut corners I think it's a good thing!
