I have no water!!!

I live in an apartment , and wake up to no water.
So I go to the office and say "I have no water"
They tell me yes we know the city is replacing a pipe.
OK now I understand the pipe needs fixed and the water needs shut off
BUT couldnt they have let us know to give us warning?
I could have made sure I had some extra water to brush my teeth was my face or even get make myself some coffee.
Now I am sitting here getting grumpy because I NEED my coffee , my breath is stunky and mouth tastes gross and my face feels dirty!!!
I am so mad at someone and I don't even know whom to be mad at (the office or the city) Did the office know ahead of time and not tell anyone?
I do have some orange soda , but I dont think that would do to well for washing my face and brushing ,y teeth.

Would you guys be upset too?

Yes I would be upset! I've never had it happen with water but have with the phone lines- they worked on them so we had no phone/internet which means I was not able to work and could not even let anyone know. I called the phone company and they said they would make a repair ticket- now don't you think they should know if the lines are being worked on?
I hope you were able to get your water back soon, Fancy- I would have been really mad too- I need coffee too in the morning and nothing worse than not being able to wash your face and brush your teeth in the morning.

I would be upset too. Utility companies have a habit of doing just that. They give you no warning most of the time and you are just stuck until they are done fixing whatever the problem is. It is quite annoying to say the least. You would think that they could give all affected residents a notice of some sort. Now if they are gonna repave your street, they seem to have no problem leaving anotice on everyone's door to have their car off the street on a certain date for a specified period of time.

THID GIRL NEEDED HER COFFEE!!!!! and my mouth needed brushed god knows all those nasty word I said the night before made my mouth STANK!!!!!

geeze whats the excuse they cant tell us ahead of time , what if I NEEDED the water for a medical condition? then what?

Hey u should invest in a water machine they r life savers .
Where i live we have well water and if we loose power my well shuts off so the we are in a citutaion like u with no water . But being that we have the water machine we were able 2 wash our faces , brush teeth make a cup of tea or coffee. Just a suggestion or invest in a couple of 1 gallons bottles and store them in case they do that again with out notifing u guys . hope this helps.

oh your absolutly right! I usaully stocl up during hurricane season but hadnt yet as I hadnt had a threat just yet. But it will be nice to have it around just in case.
