I am a pc or am I a mac?

ok in light of this new commercial with celebs along with regular people boasting they are a pc , It made me start thinking.

what in the world is this commercial trying to say? what is the message?

And what is the difference between a pc and a mac?
are they not both computers?

someone please do tell.

This is what I think i could be wrong but its my opinion.Well in the mac commercial they r always putting down the pc and bringing out the flaws of the pc's programs like Vista . I think they made this new commercial 2 show that there are different types of pc's and programs that work for different type of people.Whereas there is only 1 type of mac (that i am aware of ). Yes they are both PC's but Mac is a different as far as anything goes for a while we had one and i could not get used 2 using it and it wound up just sitting there. 2 me it is not as simple as using a pc. There is no windows or Microsoft programs. I do not think that they r bad but a mac is not for me .

Mac uses a completely different operating system. Macs and PCs don't speak the same computer language. It's like saying "What's the difference between English and Chinese? They're both languages."

And now Mac is boasting about the fact that they can run some of the same programs as PC. They always make PC look unreliable and unstable while Mac is so efficient and best working. They also make it to look as though PC has to use gimicks to get people to buy them.

So my question now is "Is Mac the better computer and easier to use, or is it PC?"

It won't matter which you choose, the Linux geeks will claim they have the advantage!

I am a pc person I guess cuz it's wha I have. I know someone who had a mac and he said it was cuz of the graphics or something it could do that a pc could not do. He used a mac at his job - he designed boxes for things. I thought there were not many things not compatable with a mac but guess that now is changing.

I dont know them either. I guess I am a pc because thats what I have too. I never seen a mac before so I guess I am not missing anything

Thanks Lillen- I don't think I have seen the cute little penguin. Never heard of Unix either. lol I'm lucky I can understand windows! lol

Ok i have never seen the pengiun either lol he's cute

I have seen that penguin on some sites I have been to before, don't remember exactly what sites, but know I have seen it.
