1 lb Kraut
1 lb sausage
3 apples thin sliced
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
3/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
3/4 cup apple cider
Cut sausage into 2 inch pieces. Put 1/2 kraut in slow cooker. Add sausage then other ingredients in order listed. Tow w/ remaining kraut. Don't stir. Cook on high 4 hours or low 6-7 hours. Serve w/ mashed potatoes.
