I was sitting here thinking. Everyday we have to reign in who we really are. At work we have to be on good behavior in front of our bosses and watch what we say to coworkers. We have to watch what we say or do in front of our kids. It's disrespectful to cuss like a sailor in front of our parents just because we stubbed our toe. So, I was sitting here thinking that we hardly have a chance to just relax and be who we are. We always seem to have set rules we have to live by and how we must behave. It's rare that we can break free and just take a deep breath and remind ourselves of who we are. I married my complete opposite. I love it! It keeps things interesting in our day to day life. I enjoy the uniqueness of who we are as people. I may not have the same views as your or the same way of thinking on something, but that doesn't mean we can't be great friends. It just means we're friends who are completely different people and that's great. My husband doesn't always agree with my side of the story, but he appreciates my view because he learns things that are different from how his thought process works. So, I want to invite you guys to be yourselves. Be respectful, but have fun and show us your differences. What topics do you like to discuss? Bring it up! Don't be afraid if I disagree with you. We can disagree and still enjoy the conversation. We're adults and we can remember that each of us is different and that is what makes things in life so intriguing. Let's enjoy each other's uniqueness.
