Our trip to the DC Zoo!

Looks like you all had a wonderful time!! Makes me soooo homesick. So, did you take the metro rail...what did you think of it?

OMG Alias, I did take the Metro rail. The ride there was ok. We were on it about a half hour. Well the ride back from the zoo was AWFUL!!!!!!!!!!! I get car sick to begin with. There were 6 adults and 5 kids in our group. Plus we had 2 strollers and diaper bags. Anyway getting on the rail for the ride home it was completely crowded. We had to squeeze in and I ended up standing in a spot where there was nothing to hold onto. The pole above my head was too high for me to reach. So I had Damion, his friend, and Aliyah standing w/ me. Everytime the rail started to go we were thrown backwards, everytime it stopped we flew forward. I was soo sick I thought I was going to pass out, plus I had a stroller in my hand (and coupons I found on an escalator, I was not letting them go) The kids thought it was a riot. Some lady said we were rude and should move to another car.

Let's just say it was quite the experience, not sure that I want to do it again anytime soon
