Cottage Style It looks like the lush, romantic feel of a cottage garden is best for you. Cottage gardens often feature soft, romantic plants that self-seed here and there. Cottage gardens also typically feature antique garden accents and have a comfortable feel to them.

| I was totally shocked...this is not my style at all...
Formal Style It sounds to us like you lean toward formal style, with symmetrical plantings, clipped hedges, and a prim look. Formal gardens often feature classical accents, such as sundials, urns, and pillars. If you're up for it, feel free to go wild with topiary, too -- it fits well in most formal gardens.

| this does kinda fit me
Naturalistic Style It sounds like nature is a big influence in your garden style, so a naturalistic-type garden may be best for you. Natural gardens don't often have a "designed" feel and usually feature accents made from natural materials, such as rough-hewn wood benches, bentwood arbors or trellises, and stone pathways.

Now I would have thought Nautalistic was what it would have pegged me for. Formal I am not!

| Contemporary Style (If I could afford it) Among the hardest styles to define, contemporary gardens can borrow from other styles -- yet they always feel distinct and individual. They often feature geometric patterns in paving and plantings, and can feature bold statuary or other accents. | |

Hmmm...for some reason that really surprises me...I had you pictured in my mind as as a naturalistic hands on builder, he man type of guy...hubba, hubba...*inserts naughty smirk*.
