Is there something you remember was so cool to do , that would be so uncool today? I DO! I will start.


Do you remember when leg warmers were oh soo cool!?
I had a pair of pink ones and wore them everywhere!

lol, I had forgot about those. That was also in style with Big Hair then too, especially the bangs! People would plaster them as high as they could get them teased up and stand with a can of hair spray and a blow dryer.

I remember weird earrings. My fav. pair that everyone thought were so cool were razor blades. I also remember bright colored reeboks. I had blue/purple and red ones in addition to the black and white ones. We also all wore Levi's jeans jackets all the time. We all thought we were so cool

OMG Katiewoo! Razors? was hey real razors? Like cut someone seriously razors? I have never in my life heard of anything like that....lol Did you ever accidentally cut yourself? I bet school didnt like the idea....lol

I had feather earrings - almsot as dangerous as razor blades in a way- someone ripped one out of my ear thinking my hair was on fire. ouch! I did the big hair too, had the denim jacket, but I didn't wear the tight rolled up but instead I wore the big, big bell bottoms.

i used to have a pairof hightop converse sneakers omg i used to also have apair of bell bottom jeans that flard out so much they covered my feet

They looked just like real razor blades except the edges were rounded so not dangerous but school did not like them at all and told me to stop wearing them. I didn't stop just cause I thought I was a bad as*.

I had the lightning bolt and feather earrings too.

LMAO, I caught a pair of bell bottoms in my bike one day on the way to school. I remember pink, black, and white was the fav color trio. I remember lace over the material look. I remember when the BeDazzler was actually cool.

I remember the stone washed jeans...with the straight legs all the way down to the ankles...and they had a zipper on the ankle of each side of the leg at the bottom....and those strechy pants..with big T-shirt that said "Franky Goes To Hollywood". And I wore the white socks buched down with rebocks high top sneakers with 2 velco straps at the top.....boy I thought I was so IN!!!! if you watch the re-runs of Whos' The Boss you will see the girl wearing so many stuff I used to wear.

I had to match EVERYTHING. I had shoes to match the color of my shit and socks to match my shirt and shorts , I wouls double my socks , if i had a red shirt and black shorts I had to have red and black socks both on at the same time...lol
My hair had to have been at least 4 inches sticking up in the front.
Kinda reminds me of cameron diaz in something about mary....lol

Halter tops and hip huggers.........with sandals, the flats with the toe thing- or moccasins

Do you remember when we soaked toothpicks in Cinnamon oil- school officials were always trying to catch us with them.

Do you remember not being allowed to wear slacks to school- we had to wear dresses and it was a public school.

Do you remember the mullet? I do.

How many can remember coke being sold from a machine that contained ice and water so the coke was always the coldest?

Do you remember blackjack chewing gum?

ok, I remeber the feathered clips we put in our hair, some people thought( well the were really roach clips) but I did not use them that way I promise LMAO

Oh! Yes- I remember not being allowed to wear slacks to school. We were able to wear them under our dress in the winter then take them off when we got to school. That was in grade school - - from that to the hip huggers and tye dyed t-shirts along with the feather hair clips (roach clips) in high school. lol What a difference! lol

jordach was popular in middle school. I begged gran to get me some jeans , we also went threw a faze thet everything we wore had the coca cola insignia on it.

Hey Donna I remember them so well , In fact I was injured by them , I had this bright idea to wear it on my ear.... OMG that hurt so bad I couldnt get the thing off fast enough. I have no clue why I had the idea to do that. Most likely My best friend Michella told me to do it. Was real young back then too.
Later as we got into teens we finally figured out what those clips was REALLY for....lol we needless to say we always had one in our hair or on a hat...lol
