These are the Bomb! I think they got their name because they are rather large cookies. The original recipe is a HUGE batch, which I have divide into a fourth of a batch, otherwise you will be making enough for a few classrooms of children.

3 Eggs
1/2 lb. Brown Sugar
1 Cup White Sugar
1 tsp. Vanilla
2 tsp. Baking Soda
1 tsp. Corn Syrup
1/4 lb. (1 stick) Butter - NOT margarine
3/4 lb. Peanut Butter (smooth)
4 1/2 Cups Oatmeal
1/4 lb. Chocolate Chips
1/4 lb. M&M's

Mix in order given. Drop by large Tablespoon or ice cream scoop onto cookie sheet and flatten a few inches apart (they spread). Bake at 350 degrees for 10-14 min, until edges are lightly brown. DON'T wait until they drop! These are a softer chewy cookie. If they are overcooked, they will be crunchy when they cool.
