I am going to can 24 jars tonight, I am just so happy I can bust!!!!! | |

| What are you canning? I was lucky growing up. My mother canned every year. Tomatoes, beans, corn, pickles, beets etc..... I learned first hand from a pro. We had a room in the basement filled with shelves full of canned goods. She also did jams and cherries. I got all her canning stuff and jars when she gave it up. Got too old. Now I bring her some of my stuff. | |

| I think it is great that you are canning things. More people should do things like that I believe. I wish I had an area for a garden here, I so do miss it. | |

| Kudos to you Donna! I think it's great you are canning things!! I so wish we had room for a garden- well then too of course I'd need to know how to can things. lol I don't agree with your husband at all -- just the two of you indeed! Don't you still need to eat? Won't that fresh taste of the canned goods taste wonderful in the middle of winter! | |
