do you recycle?

do you recycle? If so because you want to or have to?

I do becuase I want to. I use the nylon bags while shopping. The hardest thing for me is I love bottled water it so easy just to grab one and go. I drink like 4-5 bottles a day.
My mom who lives in Ohio has to, she does not mind it, She even has to clean out the cans and take the paper off the can foods.

Yes, I recycle. Mostly I want to and it's not hard once I got into the habit but starting was hard to do. lol I don't have to take paper off cans or anything but do rinse everything out and the only thing I keep seperate is newspapers. It helps keep the garbage to one bag a week and since we have to pay for each bag of garbage the more we recycle the less we spend on garbage. Our soda/beer cans we take back to a seperate place and we get so much a pound for them since there is no deposit on them here. We could put them in with other recycling but since they will pay us for them makes more sense to us to get the money back from them.

We do recycle in some ways. I don't intentionally set it out for pick up though. We reuse a lot of things such as the bags that you get from stores, they become trash bags intead of buying more plastic bags to line our trash cans with. Since we have one XX-Large trash can out back, we just take each bag out as they get full. I reuse bowls with lids and things too. They are great for so many things from storing different sized nails and screws to sending home leftovers with family and friends and no worries on if the container does not make its way back to your house......(Have lost a few good dishes this way, learned not to send them out!) Of course there is always aluminum, brass, copper, and steel that you can take to the recycle places and get money for. Recycling that really pays off - now you're talking! LOL. The bad part of it is that those who are really hard up or needing their next quick fix of whatever they are on, break into places and steal these types of things.

I dont really recycle , but i do reuse alot of things. It saves me money this way , such as my butter bowls , plastic grocery sacks ect.
