| Ok, Ok, I'll go first - - not like I've never been embarrassed before and I'm pretty sure I will be again. lol I've had some pretty embarrassing things happen but I think, I have to say the one that pops into my head right now- - well having my son walk in on my boyfriend and I - yes, having sex. This was quite a few years back and my son was 16 at the time- he was pretty embarrassed to. Now feel free to bare your souls ladies!!! (after you stop laughing!) | |

| I think for me was when I started my monthly for the first time , I was in middle school , and wearing white pants on that day , and surprise!!!! I had to borrow a jacket from a friend to wear around my waist. Then go to the office and ask to go home and explain what happened . | |

| Mine was when I had received a giant electric griddle as a Christmas gift from my husband's grandmother. It was large enough to cook breakfast for the entire continental United States! Never really needing to cook 60 pancakes at a time, I left it in it's box, and promptly stored it under my bed. Well, nearly a year later the grandmother inquired about the gift, to which I claimed we used it all the time. The grandmother then suggested we cook hamburgers on it, for that night's supper. I retrieved the box from under my bed and brought it out to the kitchen where grandma was waiting. I figured if it looked new, it would just be testament to what great care I was taking of it. Well, I pulled the long griddle out of it's box, and under it were 4 other small Christmas gifts, still wrapped, still with the tags on them; from last Christmas. I could have died right there! I tried to rattle off some "I could have sworn we used this before...?!"... but my face was three shades of red and I knew she knew I had lied. Thankfully, she didn't make a big deal of it and we had a little mini-Christmas opening the year-old gifts. | |

| OH goodness Lillen! I would have died on the spot. Now that is funny.
When I was getting a divorce, I had to appear at the court house a few times during the process. It was a very warm day and I did not feel like wearing long pants so I put on a cute little skirt that came above the knee and was one that "flowed" as you walked. So I arrive in the middle of downtown and found a space to park and had to walk around the courthouse square to get to the one and only door you could enter through. Well, just as my luck would have it, for some mysterious reason, mother nature decided it was perfect timing for a large gust of wind to come through. Mind you, I am one who does not wear full panties, just thongs and g-strings. So the next thing I know my skirt was completely up in the air now by my top. There were too many cars and people around and I was not about to take the time to see who had pretty darn much seen all. I just ran straight to the door and in the courthouse trying to hold down my skirt the rest of the way. | |

| Rofl! That'll fix ya ... I quit wearing skirts after I fell down the stairs in school and had to walk around with bloody nylons all day. | |

| Just found this thread looking for something else and decided to resurrect it. Before I got married I had a side job as a "dancer". After a couple years of marriage and a few glasses of wine I decided to "dance" for hubby in the privacy of our living room. Let me hijack my own post for a moment by saying that I have a green thumb and love plants...had them all over the house...including catci. Anyone care to guess where this is going? LOL Okay, back to the subject at hand. Sooo...I'm in the process of getting my groove on and flinging various pieces of clothing when somehow....could it have been that last glass of wine...I lost my balance and landed on this mother of a cactus. It was one of those really tall ones with spikes for thorns. Would would have known that I am allergic to cacti needles. Needless to say I ended up in the emergency room. Now picture me on my hands and knees with my butt in the air under one of those huge surgical type lights and the emergency room staff snickering the whole time as they plucked thorns out of it. While to this day I will still occassionally dance for hubby...there is now not one blessed cacti to be found in my house. | |
