tell us about your pets

ok I will start, I have four dogs and five cats, the are all inside animals

ok to start with the dogs
Molly is 16 years old and a lab/mix
Ginger is a 8 and a cocker
Sydney is 3 and also a cocker
Winnie is 1.5 and is some kind of little rat mix

ok for the cats
Bailey is 14, he was a adult stray when found
Mason is 13 and was found in a brick wall when he was 3 weeks old
Bella is 3 and was found when she was 4 days old a total bottle baby
Gina and Dora sisters are 5 months old, also bottle babies found when the were also about 3 weeks old
I love all of them

I have an outside dog named Riley. She is almost 2 years old. We got her when I had my youngest daughter and had planned on letting her inside, but I was afraid she would jump on my daughter since she was a pretty wild puppy.

I also have 2 outside cats that showed up when we moved in. Emma is a boy my daughter named and his sister is not named. They are a little over a year old. The cat with no name just had 3 kittens and they are about 4 weeks old. We have only named 1 so far. There is one with only 3 paws and we named her Peggy. They are all girls. When they are old enough we are bringing Peggy inside with us.

We also have a fish, but the kids can't decide on a name for it either.

We have a 4yr. old dog named Bitsy. She's a chihuahua/cairn terrier mix. We found her in a busy intersection when we lived in Miami. She was about 3 months old at the time. She's an indoor dog and is so spoiled. She is very mellow and sweet and is so good with Katie.

I got my chihuahua , he is very very spoiled. he has his own clothes even and he crowds the bed at night.

Ok, PUHlease do not make me list all their names....LMAO, some sound a little, well kinda, ummm you could say odd or even strange or wierd!

Everyone here is a stray........We came with no pets and ended up with MANY!

We even have taken many to the shelter......and broke my heart!!!

I wish I could save the world of lost pets, but I can't do it all.

Most are indoor/outdoor and some are only outdoors and won't even come close enough to touch them, but will readily take food from you and beg at your door for it.

HungryMan (he is always hungry when he shows up)
Joy (who showed up at the end of last fall with three that we could not even touch at first)

Mitts (from the weeds also, and a.k.a. the fidge.....why you ask?
simple, she truly is a midget who trys to fool you into
thinking she is a kitten when she is actually full grown!
She is the size of a 6 month old kitten)

All of whom are fixed excluding Joy who just had 4 more about 9 weeks ago and we are currently tyring to find homes for. Yes, even her first set of bablies brought here a few months back are fixed.

I am mother to an 8 year old Bichon Friese- a dog we rescued from a bad home. He was left in a cage for days on end and sometimes with no food or water. We call him Velcro dog as he has to sit or lay touching one of us. But, please don't mention he is a "dog"- he doesn't know what that is. He thinks he is a child- just hairier than our other two girls. We have always had poodles before and waited many years after our last two had to be put to sleep. That was much to traumatic to go through to think about getting a new pet right away. If something happens to Q- I doubt we will ever get another dog.

well we had a bullodog that we rasied from 6weeks old until 2yrs ago. that we had gave away to my hubby friend. it was getting too much to take care of the dog and my 4 small kids so we gave him up .. it was hard but we do see him alot he his 6 yrs old now and when hubbys friend goes away we watch him and when his friend comes up for no reason we see him as well. His name is Beefy.
I have 5 fish that my kids every day change their names lol
But right now their names are : # 2 because it looks like a pencil then we have thing1 and thing 2 they are cathfish the ones with the long mustaches then we have a placko which is the fish that sucks to the glass to clean it so the call they him suukie then i have 2 irredesant sharks (they are not like jaws ) and i think today the called them happy and sad i dunno y lol so

Boy, do I feel lonely- we have a bird. That's it- just one bird. She's a love bird and her name is Cecelia. She does tricks tho, she will give kisses and will ring her bell if asked to.
We only have the one bird and are happy that way.
But when my boys were growing up well we had pets of every shape and kind-
Pygmy goats, bunnies, pigeons, a lobster(a pink one), lots of fish, piranhas(yes with all the teeth), a shetland pony, a quarter horse, a peacock, doves, parakeets, a tarantula, a scorpion, a monitor(which is like a baby alligator), mice, and the usual mix of cats and dogs.

I have two dogs- one is a cocker spaniel/terrier mix, Abby. She is black with a little white on her chest. She is very loving and does a few tricks - she is also nuerotic. She loves to sit on my lap all the time.

Ginger is my second dog- I have no clue what she is...she is a mix of a lot, lol! We took her in for one night (a year ago), she had been beaten, thrown out of a car and left alone- well, I am happy to report she is now about 75 lbs, very healthy! She is crazy- she loves attention, she thinks she is a lap dog and she is very vocal- she loves to "talk" you can talk to her and she will try to carry on a conversation with you. She is also very protective of the family. Sometimes I think she is part Saint Bernard...she slobbers like one, has a mix of shepherd, and I don't know what else. She is a reddish color with a lot of dark brown.

We've had tons of animals over the years. All strays or animals that people got and no longer wanted.

Currently we have 3 dogs ( had 4, but just lost one recently) ... they are:

Simon (chihuahua mix)- given to us by a trucker who lived on the road.
Tasha (Golden Retriever mix) - found near-drowned in a storm drain as a puppy.
Ernie (Border Collie mix) - Feral puppy found covered in burrs.

We also have 3 pot-bellied pigs... they are:

Hammer (female)- Given to us by a couple that no longer wanted her.
Jake and Elwood- (brothers, male)- Found along with a 3rd brother as piglets, running around Hammer one morning. Assumed abandoned on dirt road, or possibly dumped in yard. 3rd brother got spooked and ran away- we never saw him again. I tell Jake and Elwood that he is vacationing in Albuquerque.

We also have 5 tortoises and 2 gerbils.
