4 cups apple juice
1/2 cup red-hot candies
1 (1 3/4 ounce) package fruit pectin
4 1/2 cups sugar
Directions
1 Combine juice, candy and pectin in a large pot.
2 Bring to a full boil over high heat, stirring constantly.
3 Stir in sugar.
4 Return to a full boil.
5 Boil for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
6 Remove from heat.
7 Skim off foam and unmelted candy.
8 Pour hot liquid into hot jars, leaving 1/4 inch head space.
9 Adjust lids.
10 Process for 5 minutes in boiling water bath.
